Born in Portsmouth, Va. Grew up in Southern Maryland along the Chesapeake Bay, famous for Blue Claw Crabs. Following high school attended Maryview Hospital School of Radiology and Johns Hopkins Ultrasound School. After a full carrer in Medical Diagnostic Ultrasonography, left the corporate world to serve full time in Family and Childrens Ministry in 2004.
God then called Catherine into ministry in 2021 and became a Certified Lay Minister in 2022. Completed Local Pastor Licensing School at Milsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi in 2023. Served as Associate Pastor at Grace UMC in Iuka, Ms., then Senior Pastor at Meadow Creek UMC in Booneville, MS before being appointed to Pickwick and Pisgah UMC in July 2025.
Married to Charles for 38 years and together have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. Rev. Thomas lives in Iuka, MS.
